Mental health at work matters. In the last 5 years, we’ve seen a significant increase in primary mental health (psychological) claims in workers' compensation. For many of these employees the cause of their mental injury relates to interpersonal issues (harassment) and workplace stress. It’s never been more essential to support these employees – so we’ve joined forces with theCorporate Mental Health Alliance Australia (CMHAA)to bring you the ‘Return to Work from Mental Injury’ webinar series.Find out more and register for our next session here:https://lnkd.in/gi8bcjq8

This is a great incentive.I wish Allianz had this mindset in 2018, when I needed this level of understanding. The case manager assigned to me then was the most inept individual I’ve ever had the misfortune to encounter in my life.

In partnership with Corporate Mental Health Alliance Australia (CMHAA), we held a breakfast workshop session this morning. With Julie Mitchell as our host, we brought together leaders from across major Australian organisations to discuss the crucial aspects of addressing workplace mental health and creating psychosocial safety. We were privileged to be joined by industry-leading experts, Lucinda Brogden AM, Kristy Edser, Jono Nicholas and James Fitzpatrick, who enriched our panel with their invaluable insights and practical strategies. Special thanks to Kim Hamrosi for a fantastic job facilitating a very thought-provoking panel discussion. While discussion is beneficial, the important part lies in going away and turning dialogue into action. That’s why we’ll leverage the knowledge and information shared today to develop a resource package, specifically designed to support executive leadership in embedding mental health into their enterprise risk management strategy.Stay tuned as we continue the conversation and work together to foster positive change in workplace mental health.
