Why does my new Dyson Airwrap keep stopping? ›

It could be because of excessive use, improper storage, or poor cleaning. Regardless of the cause, a clogged filter can lead to your device shutting off due to a lack of airflow. If you suspect that the air filter is blocking the airflow, then it needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Hairspray or other hair care products can cause build-up on the filter or filter cage, and this blocks airflow, which can result in the device overheating, and shutting off.

Can I exchange one Dyson machine for another? For purchases made on Dyson.com, Dyson does not offer exchanges unless the machine was damaged in transit. Machines are covered under warranty service with repair and servicing support.

The big difference between the two versions of the Airwrap lies in the styling attachments. According to Dyson, the curling barrels and the dryer attachment have been re-engineered on the new model to make styling your hair easier.

When using the Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler, there are two key reasons curls can sometimes drop out prematurely. Trying to style hair that's already dry - when hair dries, those molecules in the hair that contain water are already set in place. By forcing these into a new shape, they may not be able to hold it for long.

Why does my Dyson keep cutting out? A Dyson handheld that keeps cutting out is known as pulsing. A Dyson V7 pulsing problem can be very frustrating! A few reasons why your Dyson is pulsing are potential blockages or problems with the bin or filter.

After your hair is smoothed out, brush some flexible-hold curling mousse through your hair, focusing on the mid-lengths to ends. Will these new attachments work with my existing multi-styler? Yes, our re-engineered attachments are fully compatible with every Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler.

Short answer, yes. Their tools are compatible/universal between all Dyson V8™, Cyclone V10™, Dyson V11™, V15 Detect™, Outsize™ and Gen5detect™ models. They call these 'standard format tools'.

Is the new Dyson Airwrap Complete better than the old one? If you already have an Airwrap, you don't need to run out and buy the 2.0 — it makes the most sense to just get the attachments you really want instead. But. if you're buying an Airwrap for the first time, we recommend buying the new version.
