Frank "The Tank" Fleming had a career in the information technology (IT) industry before littering our texts and Twitter feeds with keystrokes on Barstool Sports. A native of New York, Frank was a lifelong adherent to sports who later connected with the world of digital content development.

Frank's interest in sports continued to grow, so he started exploring avenues through which he could share his views and knowledge with a larger group of people. He began by having his own blog, writing about the teams he supported, disregarding sports, and offering some insight into recent news in sports.
That unique mix of sports knowledge, easy-to-relate personality, and humor helped him quickly build a loyal fan base. Afterward, Barstool Sports, a national sports and pop culture media company, noticedFrank'sengaging content.
Joining Barstool Sports
As fate would have it, Frank got stuck at a train station during delays at the New Jersey Transit system and expressed his frustrations over social media. Just like that, as the viral moment continued to gain momentum, it caught the attention of Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, who instantaneously fell in love with Frank and his larger-than-life personality and obvious passion for sports.
Portnoy recognized Frank's talent, approached him, and extended the opportunity to join Barstool. After grinding in the blog game for over a decade, Frank took his rightful place on team Barstool and immediately became one of its most beloved figures.
Tanking Series
Since the "Tanking" series, Frank has been a crucial part of Barstool Sports in just about every way. He has dispensed fantastic sports advice, competed in outrageous challenges and competitions, and used his off-the-wall happiness to resonate with fellow members of the Barstool community.
The perfect storm of what Frank describes as his three strongest points—sports knowledge, sense of humor, and journey to Barstool—has made him a successful hire for the company. His content, which is entertaining and knowledge-filled for his audience, has been able to increase the viewers of his channel as well as attract a growing demographic.
